Кудесы / Bracelet "Vesnyanka"

A common feature of many Russian bracelets is the presence of arches on them, which frame the figures of people, animals, birds, as well as floral ornaments: leaves and branches. All this came from the custom of curling a birch tree during Rusal Week. A few days before the holiday of Ivan Kupala, our ancestors arranged merry festivities to conjure the forces of nature. They performed dances, songs and rituals, believing that this would help the future harvest. The "Vesnyanka" bracelet is a symbol of the revival of the physical and spiritual forces of a person.
