Features and applications: Most often, the corners are made of carbon or low-alloy steel. The most common application for this type of rolled metal is the reinforcement of installation structures: thanks to the presence of a stiffening ribbon, hot-rolled corners are characterized by very high bending strength. In addition, they are often used in the manufacture of reinforced concrete structures, in machine building, machine-tool construction and other areas. This distribution is not surprising, because the corners combine such qualities as versatility and low price.
